Skills Challenge

Compete for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the 2023 NBA Draft in New York City.  

National finalists will attend the 2023 NBA Draft, receive gift bags, attend special events, and interact with NBA/WNBA/G League Players, Legends, & Draftees.

Overview

GO 3x3 is hosting a regional Jr. NBA Skills Challenge for boys and girls 13 and under.

Boys and girls will compete separately in three different age groups: 9U, 11U, and 13U. Each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finisher will be honored locally.

The top 13U & 11U scores in the Omaha region will be entered into the national database.  The Jr. NBA will pick top scores from the national database to compete in the national finals, which take place in New York City during the June 2023 NBA draft event.  

Winning locally does NOT guarantee an all-expense paid trip to the 2023 NBA Draft but it's a great start!

Competition Skills

Participants will compete in each of the five standardized skills to earn a total cumulative time resulting in a final score:

• Dribbling  Challenges participants in stationary, zig-zag, and speed dribbling.
  
  
• Shooting   Challenges participants to make jump shots from the elbow.
  
  
• Passing      Challenges participants to accurately pass toward a wall target and receive a pass.
  
  
• Lay-Up      Challenges participants to make lay-up shots.
  
  
• Defense and Bonus Free Throw – Challenges participants in defensive lane slides, sprinting, and free throw shooting.

A player MUST be registered online for one of our Local Competitions in order to participate.
